For my GCSE Food & Nutrition course I have chosen The Day of the Dead to base my practical project around - mainly because I love Mexican food. To research my menu I visited Mestizo Mexican Restaurant near Euston Station in London with my brother, Charlie. I wanted to cool Chicken Tamales and Prawn Empanadas which is why I chose this res as they had both on the menu. It was really useful to see and taste these so I can make sure my food is as authentic as I can make it. I can’t wait to start practicing these dishes - I will post an update on how I’m getting on!
