Last week I did a gourmaze walking tour in soho. Its a treasure hunt around soho with three stops along the way for delicious food to try. We did the Asian tour.
The food we had were hoisin duck steamed dumplings with glass noodles, sushi rolls and pork belly bao buns with an Asian slaw. Everything was amazing but the duck dumplings were extra special and a delicious bite-sized treat. They were a soft dough wrapper filled with tender duck meat cooked in sweet and savory hoisin sauce. They were served with chewy glass noodles, which added an interesting texture. As they were steamed, the dumplings were juicy and flavourful, combining the rich taste of the duck and the sweet notes of the sauce.
It was a really fun way to see Soho sights and sample some lovely food. I will definitely do it again - they offer a taco walk so I’m going to book this for the autumn.
