The second food tour of my trip to North America was is Vancouver Canada.
We started off at a Ukrainian restaurant. We had cabbage and mushroom perogies. It was my first time trying perogies and it didn’t disappoint. I was sceptical of it being a vegetarian dish but it was full of flavour and very hearty.

Then we went to a Mexican Korean fusion restaurant where we dipped into the Mexican side and had a seafood tostada. It had octopus, scallops and tuna on top of the crispy tortilla. It was fresh and seasoned well. It was a bit messy but still enjoyed it throughly.

Finally we had a white pizza. A white pizza is a where there is no tomato and relies on the cheese for the moisture and flavour. I don’t normally like white pizzas but the cheese was so rich it made up for the lack of tomato.

Overall really enjoyed this food tour and the diversity when it came to food.
