Dishoom

My mum got a cookbook from Dishoom as a present and so we tried a couple of dishes from it. The potatoes are called Gunpowder Potatoes and were so tasty. They had salad onions, coriander, chilli and an Indian spice called kebab masala which was amazing. I've never had potatoes like it.


The salad was a broccoli salad. It was mixed with raw broccoli, pistachio nuts, herbs, and dressed with olive oil, lime juice, honey and mint. I would never have thought to make a salad with raw broccoli but because it was chopped up fine it really worked.


I love Indian flavours as they are so different to anything else you taste and they made the potatoes especially really delicious. I would definitely make these again.
