A little hidden rooftop restaurant in Havana

We ended our time in Havana in a local's favourite spot. It was a lovely rooftop restaurant with a large variety of food.

For starter I had mixed tacos with fish, pork and chicken. You might notice I was a bit eager and one of the tacos is missing. It was so delicious I couldn't wait. They were lovely with a really tangy aioli on the side which paired with the tacos very well.

For main I had a half chicken with a side of creamy sweet potato mash. Sweet potatoes are another staple of Cuban cuisine - they eat them boiled, mashed, deep fried... any way really. They are different to our sweet potatoes as they are pale and not as sweet. The chicken was very tender and seasoned very well to provide a very hearty meal.

I really loved our trip to Cuba.
