Bangers and mash. The only suitable dish to eat whilst watching England play in the World Cup. It was a great decision as it was the only thing that got me through that boring 0-0 game. It was a new challenge for me as I had to cook enough for 25 people. My first time cooking for such a large crowd. I was very pleased and so was everyone else with the final result. I made sure to add plenty of butter to the mash to make it creamy and enjoyable. I seared the sausages to give them a crispy skin and then slowly cooked the rest to ensure it was cooked all the way through. Overall a great success in the kitchen but not on the pitch.
